The integrated fingerprint recognition system allows access for up to eight authorized users and one administrator, who can access the device using a password. The hard drive does not store passwords on the computer or in the system's temporary memory, making storage much more secure than with software encryption.
User-friendly
The easy-to-use software allows for the registration and storage of fingerprints for up to eight users. Once set up, these users can lock and unlock the device using only a stored fingerprint. Simply connect the Executive Fingerprint Secure drive to the computer and gently place your finger on the sensor. If fingerprint recognition occurs, the secure hard drive will unlock and a green LED indicator will light up on the device. Access to the hard drive can also be obtained using the administrator password.
Wide Connectivity Options
The disk can be set up and used on both PC and Mac operating systems. The hard drive interface is USB 3.2 GEN 1 with USB-C connection for very fast data transfer*. The package includes a USB-C to USB-A cable and a USB-C adapter for connecting a wide range of devices. After loading the fingerprint, unlike regular encrypted disks, it is possible to connect it to the TV.
Backup Software
For an additional level of security, Nero Backup software is included, which will help you back up all files, folders, and drives from your laptop or computer whenever you want. You can also schedule automatic regular backups at a specific time and day! Nero Backup software is compatible only with Windows.
