PCTG filament (PolyCyclohexylenedimethylene Terephthalate Glycol) is a modern engineering material that belongs to the family of advanced copolyesters and represents an improved alternative to PETG filament. Compared to PETG, it offers higher impact toughness, better heat resistance and dimensional stability, while maintaining easy printability and excellent layer adhesion.

Why choose PCTG instead of PETG
At first glance PETG and PCTG may look similar, but the differences in their properties are significant. PCTG offers up to 20–30% higher impact resistance than PETG, withstands temperatures up to 80–90 °C and has a lower tendency to deform during printing. In addition, it can be printed without the need for an enclosed chamber, which makes it a great choice even for standard desktop 3D printers.
