Gembird filament FLEX

Easy to use even for less experienced users

Unlike some softer flexible filaments, Gembird FLEX is very easy to print. The material features high dimensional accuracy, even winding and a stable filament diameter, so it works well even in printers with a Bowden extruder (not only Direct Drive). Thanks to the carefully tuned TPU formulation, the filament offers an ideal balance between flexibility and printability, making it an excellent material for everyday use in the workshop, at home or in small-scale production.

Practical use in real-world applications

Thanks to its flexibility and strength, Gembird FLEX filament is ideal for producing seals, flexible holders, housings, handles, anti-slip accessories, bumpers or modelling parts. Prints made from this material are highly resistant to mechanical stress and vibrations, which also makes it suitable for technical or structural prototypes. The material has excellent shape memory – after being compressed or stretched, it returns to its original shape.

Recommended print settings:

• Nozzle temperature: 210–240 °C

• Bed temperature: 50–60 °C

• Print speed: 20–40 mm/s
  For best results, it is recommended to print at a lower speed and with minimal retraction to avoid overpressure in the extruder.
