Unlike some flexible filaments that can be difficult to process, Spectrum FLEX is designed to print easily and consistently. Thanks to high production quality and precise diameter control, the material is fed evenly without clogging the nozzle. It offers excellent inter-layer adhesion and produces smooth, homogeneous prints with a professional appearance.

The material absorbs vibrations and shocks very well, making it an ideal choice for parts that must withstand mechanical loads.

Recommended printing parameters:

• Nozzle temperature: 220–245 °C

• Bed temperature: 40–60 °C

• Print speed: 20–35 mm/s

• Retraction: minimal or disabled

For best results, a Direct Drive extruder is recommended, as it provides better control over feeding the soft filament.

Wide range of hardness levels, colours and eco-friendly variants

Spectrum Filaments offers its FLEX materials in several hardness levels (e.g. Shore 85A, 90A, 98A) – from very soft types suitable for elastic parts to stiffer versions for more rigid components.
The range includes a rich palette of colours – from classic neutral tones to bright, vivid shades for design applications. Like other Spectrum products, these FLEX filaments are also available in an eco-friendly Refill version without a spool, which reduces plastic waste and supports a sustainable approach to 3D printing.
