Unlike some flexible filaments that can be difficult to process, Spectrum FLEX is designed to print easily and consistently.

Thanks to the high manufacturing quality and precise diameter control, the material is fed evenly without clogging the nozzle. The material has excellent interlayer adhesion and produces smooth, uniform prints with a professional appearance.

It is suitable for printing functional parts, seals, anti-slip pads, ergonomic handles, sports accessories, and packaging elements. The material excellently absorbs vibrations and impacts, making it an ideal choice for parts that must withstand mechanical stress.

Recommended print parameters:

• Nozzle temperature: 220–245 °C

• Bed temperature: 40–60 °C

• Print speed: 20–35 mm/s

• Retraction: minimal or disabled

For the best results, a Direct Drive extruder is recommended, as it better controls the feeding of soft filament.

Spectrum Filaments offers its FLEX materials in various hardness levels (e.g. Shore 85A, 90A, 98A) – from very soft types suitable for elastic parts to stiffer variants for more rigid components.
A rich color palette is available in the range – from classic neutral tones to bold, saturated shades for design applications. Like other Spectrum products, these FLEX filaments are also available in an eco-friendly Refill version without a spool, which reduces the amount of plastic waste and enables a sustainable way of printing.
