Product description

Impressive matte finish

Spectrum PET-G MATT is a PET-G based material with a chemical composition modified to achieve matte surfaces on the printed object. The matte finish of printed materials significantly enhances their aesthetic properties and also minimizes the visibility of layers on the side surfaces of the prints.

Spectrum PET-G MATT also retains all the properties of classic PET-G based polymers, i.e. easy and highly efficient printing, low shrinkage, and very good adhesion between layers as well as between the build platform and the printed object.Furthermore, the use of additives improved temperature resistance, impact resistance, and reduced the brittleness of printed objects.

Key Features:

  • Vicat softening temperature - 75°C
  • UV stabilization
  • high-quality matte side surface with hardly visible layers
  • increased adhesion between layers
  • high durability
  • high stiffness of objects
  • no shrinkage after cooling

Applications:

  • Interior appearance
  • educational projects
  • architectural models
  • industrial design prototyping for concept visualization

With the above properties, Spectrum PET-G MATT applications are primarily oriented towards presenting the main aesthetic values, i.e. Prototyping industrial design for concept visualization and demonstration of design construction variants. It is also used for interior design purposes and architectural models.

Cover

The thread is wound on a neat, transparent spool. Each spool contains information about the type of material, diameter, and recommended printing temperature. The thread is vacuum-packed with a moisture absorber. The entire product is packaged in the original, labeled Spectrum Filaments packaging.

VERIFY YOUR SOOL – the most accurate control system on the market

The filament for 3D printers is produced by the free extrusion method, which is one of the most challenging processing techniques in extrusion, due to the particularly significant influence of process parameters on the dimensions of the product and the homogenization of the material.

During production, each 1mm Spectrum Filament is continuously measured in 2 axes with an accuracy of ±0.8µm, which allows for obtaining a high-quality final product. To prove this, Spectrum Filaments as one of the few manufacturers in the world has introduced the option of online presentation, individually for each produced spool:

  • course of the average along the entire length of the coil,
  • mean diameter,
  • ovality,
  • standard deviation.

Accurate research ensures that Spectrum Filaments products meet the strict market requirements.
