The self-fusing tape 3M Scotchfil is designed to create a filler layer with very good resistance to aging, corrosion, solvents, and fats.
It is insulating and has good thermal conductivity. It is soft, flexible, and can be processed by pulling and pressing, even at negative temperatures. Usage: sealing, filling damaged areas in cables, leveling uneven surfaces on cable fittings, valves, and flanges, sealing LV connectors and couplings against water penetration, etc. Technical specifications carrier: synthetic rubber total thickness: 3.2 mm temperature resistance: 80 °C moisture resistance: very good chemical resistance: against oil and solvents - very good
