3M Diamond Grade 983 contour tapes for vehicle marking are designed for application on smooth, solid side and rear surfaces of vehicles and trailers to enhance their visibility. The tapes are non-metallic, non-corroding, with closed edges preventing the loss of self-reflection. They are highly durable, resistant to weather conditions, dirt, fumes, fuel pollution, and aging. The tapes have bright colors that are highly visible both day and night (for excellent 24-hour visibility, they are also available in fluorescent yellow - type 983-21). They meet the requirements of ECE 104 as retro-reflective markings for vehicles of categories M, N, and O. Maintenance: To ensure maximum functionality of the signage, we recommend regular cleaning. Application instructions: The bonded surface must be clean, degreased, dry, and intact. First, remove all mechanical impurities and then thoroughly degrease it using 3M VHB surface cleaner or a 3M wipe soaked in isopropyl alcohol. Remove the protective layer (liner) from the tape, avoid touching the adhesive, and apply the tape to a flat and clean surface. Ensure that the tape adheres to the entire surface, including the edges. Do not overlap the tapes. Wait 2 hours before washing.
