Durability of PCTG Enhanced by the Benefits of Glass Fibers
The potential contained in highly durable PCTG inspired us to create another composite based on this copolyester – Spectrum PCTG GF10. Thanks to the glass fiber filling, a highly strong fiber with an interestingly matte surface was created.
When composing the mixture, we paid special attention to reducing the abrasiveness of the glass fibers, which is characteristic for this type of filler. For this reason, we used functionalized glass fibers with less aggressive geometry, thereby reducing the degradation of the printer nozzle.
Spectrum PCTG GF10 is a technical filament with properties focused on high stiffness and hardness.
Thanks to extremely high interlayer adhesion and low shrinkage, it allows even intermediate users to produce large prints.Glass fibers also give prints a distinctive texture, which, in addition to undeniable aesthetic qualities, also results in increased usability. Models made from Spectrum PCTG GF10 material are suitable for applications where increased adhesion, enhanced resistance to cyclic fluctuations, and chemical resistance are important.
