The Virtuos HT-855A is a compact and powerful CCD barcode scanner that can decode both one-dimensional (1D) and two-dimensional (2D) codes. This universal scanner is an ideal solution for modern retail, pharmacies, restaurants, and warehouses, where fast and reliable product identification is essential. Thanks to advanced technology, the scanner can read codes not only from paper, but also from mobile phone displays, making it ready for reading ePrescriptions and mobile payments.

The device uses a sensitive camera sensor with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and a 32-bit ARM processor, which ensures a reading speed of up to 60 frames per second. The scanner is capable of decoding even difficult-to-read, blurred, crumpled codes with low contrast or high density. It also excels at reading Czech characters in UTF-8 encoding directly from text stored in 2D codes. Precise code targeting is ensured by a red indicator stripe, which enables reliable reading even from multiple codes placed next to each other.
