Virtuos EHE0003 CCD 2D scanner HW-855A, wireless, base station, USB, black

Product description

The Virtuos HW-855A wireless barcode scanner is a modern and practical solution for fast and reliable scanning of 1D and 2D codes in everyday use. Thanks to the integrated CCD sensor and support for wireless technology, this device can read codes from various surfaces, including displays, transparent packaging, or wrinkled labels. It is ideally suited for retail, pharmacies, restaurants, supermarkets, and office environments where orders, inventory items, or electronic prescriptions need to be processed efficiently.

The reader works with an extensive range of codes. Supported 1D formats include EAN-8, EAN-13, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 39, Code 128, Code 93, Code 11, Codabar, Interleaved 2 of 5, Industrial 2 of 5, Matrix 2 of 5, GS1-128, GS1 DataBar, RSS14, and others. In the area of 2D codes, it can handle QR codes, Micro QR, Data Matrix, Aztec Code, PDF417, and Micro PDF417. In this way, it covers most common and specialized applications, from logistics and retail to healthcare.

Wireless connection is established via a 2.4 GHz module or Bluetooth. The 2.4 GHz connection has a range of up to 150 meters, while Bluetooth can handle a distance of up to 10 meters. The reader easily connects to a computer, tablet, or mobile phone and emulates a keyboard or serial port, simplifying integration into existing systems. The charging base connects via USB and serves both as a holder and a power source. The reader is compatible with Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, Embedded 2009/10 IoT, iOS, Android and Linux.
