ABS reinforced with aramid fibers
Spectrum ABS Kevlar is a structural composite fiber based on ABS with the addition of aramid fibers, commonly known as Kevlar.
The demand for properties better than standard ABS, strength, and increased tensile strength initiated the effort to combine the excellent properties of ABS and aramid fibers. The applied modifications ensure reduced shrinkage during processing, very good adhesion to work platforms, and reduced material density, making the printed parts slightly lighter than their counterparts made from standard ABS.
Excellent dimensional stability allows for the printing of 3D objects with precise dimensional accuracy, which is especially important for projects consisting of many components.Material Properties
