Flame-retardant halogen-free PET-G for 3D printing
Spectrum PET-G FR V0 is a new halogen-free flame-retardant material for 3D printing based on the popular PET-G.
The filament was designed according to the UL 94 V0* flammability standards, which means that the vertical burning of the filament or printed part does not last longer than 10 seconds. Most typical plastics have low flammability, which is why the Spectrum PET-G FR V0 material was developed to be non-flammable or self-extinguishing, ensuring a high level of safety in everyday or work environments. The modifications used do not affect the printability of the filament, allowing the classic properties of PET-G to be maintained, i.e. simplicity and efficiency of printing with very low shrinkage and relatively high tensile strength.
