Incredibly strong phosphorescent effect

Spectrum PET-G Glow in the Dark is a PET-G based filament doped with a concentrated phosphorescent pigment that creates a photoluminescent effect, specifically phosphorescence. This phenomenon allows the material to emit its own light after previous exposure to an external light source. The material has all the properties of pure PET-G. The pigment has a neutral effect on the properties of the material.

By doping PET-G with phosphorescent pigment, the following properties of the manufactured components can be achieved:

  • ability to emit its own light after previous exposure to an external light source
  • ability to specify the luminosity of manufactured elements by controlling wall thickness and fill density.

Tip: For a stronger and longer-lasting glow effect, leave the model exposed to a light source for a longer period. The presence of phosphorescent pigment can cause abrasion of brass nozzles, so stainless steel nozzles are recommended for long-term use of the Spectrum PET-G Glow in the Dark model.

Material Properties

  • incredibly strong light rendering effect
  • high aesthetic surface quality
  • easy separation of the object from the table
  • high stiffness of elements
  • enhanced aesthetic qualities due to layer cohesion, even at high surface inclination angles of elements

Applications

  • production of objects with significant decorative and artistic effect
  • production of objects facilitating the identification of emergency exits in case of power failure
  • advertising and decorative industry in a broader sense
  • production of souvenirs, luminous accessories, and figurines
