Spectrum PLA Tough is a specially modified consumable for 3D printing.

Modification to improve the properties of this material at the monomer level has enabled it to achieve a vast range of applications. It is ideal for printing functional parts with mechanical properties similar to ABS while maintaining the ease of printing and low shrinkage of PLA.

The use of unique ingredients that alter the polymer structure has enabled, among other things:

• noticeable reduction in shrinkage compared to classic PLA-based materials. This allows for the printing of large-scale components;
• better adhesion of printed parts to work platforms;
• achieving higher impact strength of printed components compared to their ABS counterparts;
• maintaining the high rigidity characteristic of parts made from undoped PLA;
• eliminating the brittleness typical of objects printed from undoped PLA.

• obtaining matte surfaces compared to unmodified PLA;

The characteristic properties of Spectrum PLA Tough allow the use of the material in applications where high impact strength is required with very low shrinkage of parts during processing.
