PLA Carbon Fiber filament Smart Print combines the easy printability of PLA with higher stiffness and strength due to the addition of carbon fibers. This material offers excellent dimensional stability, minimal deformation, and a technical, matte appearance of prints.
Smart Print PLA Carbon Fiber is designed for functional and structural parts where emphasis is placed on strength, low weight, and precision. Thanks to carbon fibers, it provides better mechanical properties than regular PLA and is suitable for brackets, covers, mounting elements, and technical prototypes.
The addition of carbon fibers affects the flow of the material, therefore PLA Carbon Fiber prints at higher temperatures than standard PLA. Higher nozzle and bed temperature ensures smooth material extrusion, better first layer adhesion, and stable printing even for larger and loaded parts.
