Primers – a base for maximum adhesion

Primers (also known as adhesion coatings) create an intermediate layer between the adhesive and the substrate that improves adhesion, evens out the surface, and prevents absorbency.

The use of the activator is ideal for quick repairs, serial production, or assembly work, where speed and precision are important.

Cleaners – the assurance of a perfectly clean surface

Cleaners are used to remove dust, grease, adhesive residues, and other impurities that could impair adhesion. They are intended for surface pretreatment before the application of adhesives, tapes, or sealants. A quality cleaner, such as 3M Surface Cleaner or isopropyl alcohol (IPA), ensures a clean, dry, and ideally prepared surface without damaging the material. Proper surface cleaning is essential especially for metals, plastics, glass, and painted surfaces, where adhesion increases by up to tens of percent.
