Kyocera – the pearl of office equipment

The Japanese company Kyocera has brought to the Central European region the backing of a strong, globally respected company and a relatively broad portfolio of quality products. However, in addition to efficient solar cells, mobile phones, and top-quality ceramic knives, modern printers and sophisticated multifunction devices deserve special attention, helping work teams and individuals uncompromisingly overcome even the most demanding challenges. 

Kyocera through the eyes of history

Kyocera was founded in 1959 by Dr. Kazuo Inamori as Kyoto Ceramic Co. Ltd. At that time, certainly not even the founder himself suspected that his company would one day become one of the world’s leading suppliers of printers and office solutions. Like many other well-known companies, such as Brother, Kyocera initially specialized in the production of entirely different products.

In Kyocera’s case, it was primarily about focusing production on engineering ceramics. Ceramic housings, insulators, or precision electronic components from Kyocera's workshop were synonymous with quality, and other interesting products were gradually added to them, among which we can highlight the excellent ceramic knives.

Laser printers, digital copiers, and multifunction devices came later

Kyocera began producing printers and multifunction devices in the early 1990s. of the last century. In 2000, the subsidiary Kyocera Mita Corporation was established, the creation of which can in a certain way be considered one of the company's significant milestones. Kyocera Mita Corporation has, in principle, enabled the joint development of document management and processing in the network environment of information systems, while Kyocera Mita has also offered a comprehensive solution including printing, copying, document scanning, and fax transmission, with special emphasis on reliability and quality at very low operating costs. All of this with regard to the environment, which, incidentally, has been at the center of Kyocera's attention since its very inception.

In April 2012, Kyocera Mita changed its name to Kyocera Document Solutions, but this change naturally did not affect the quality of its products. Quite the opposite. Japanese Kyocera printers and copiers still rank among the world’s elite today, as evidenced by international awards.

The Kyocera brand takes its customers and the environment truly seriously

Fans of precise, meticulously thought-out Japanese products from the Kyocera brand can regularly look forward to interesting innovations and ideas. The field of printing devices and software solutions is naturally no exception either.

As we have already indicated above, all Kyocera devices are designed with the environment in mind.
