Environmental protection is not only a matter for the state, volunteer activists, or international non-profit organizations such as Greenpeace. Unfortunately, this is often not the case, but each of us should do our part to protect and improve the environment. In the following lines, we will therefore show you a few tips that will save both the environment and your money.
Ecological thinking truly goes hand in hand with economic thinking, and efforts to protect the environment will, in addition to a good feeling, ultimately be rewarded with saved financial resources. However, so that we do not remain only at the level of theorizing, let us move on to specific principles.

Protecting the environment can start with paper. In the office, it helps if you avoid printing unnecessary documents and use duplex printing. A sensible solution for eliminating large volumes of paper in the office is the digitization of documents באמצעות multifunction devices and their storage in digital form.
In addition to measures in the office, it is advisable to put a notice on your mailbox stating that you do not wish to receive printed advertising leaflets. You can view the rods online if you are interested. If you have small children, it is better to buy recycled notebooks, and a small step—though no less important from a long-term perspective—will be to cancel the mailing of paper bank statements and replace them with electronic ones.
TIP: Did you know how paper was invented and what its history is?
This tip may already sound like a worn-out cliché, but that does not change the fact that it is still relevant advice that you should not underestimate. A TV left on unnecessarily that no one is watching, along with a home theater system switched on, a radio playing without any listeners, and lights on in rooms where no one is staying, subtly increase electricity bills and deplete natural resources.
So change these habits and use the timer for automatic shut-off. When purchasing appliances, pay attention to energy labels, and it is worth considering buying more energy-efficient LED bulbs. Such an investment will soon pay off for you, and you will contribute to protecting the environment.
Heat pumps and solar systems contribute to environmental protection while also representing an economically attractive alternative for heating a family house or preparing hot water.
These devices are becoming more affordable year by year, but also more sophisticated. Heat pumps can operate efficiently even at sub-zero temperatures dropping far below freezing, so they can significantly reduce your heating bills. The proverbial icing on the cake is the government subsidy that you can obtain for the purchase and installation of these devices in several countries of the European Union. Slovakia or the Czech Republic are no exception. When trying to protect nature, water consumption should not be overlooked either. Before bathing, prefer showering, and when brushing your teeth, do not leave the water running. It may not seem like it, but in the final tally it amounts to hundreds of liters of water that were wasted completely unnecessarily.
Don't overlook water consumption for laundry and dishwashing. While it is not recommended to run a wash cycle for small amounts of laundry, this does not apply in the case of a half-empty dishwasher. Even with a dishwasher that is not full, the water savings are greater than if you were to wash the dishes by hand.

Also remember that toners and ink cartridges do not belong in municipal waste landfills. Printer cartridges are classified as hazardous waste and must therefore be disposed of in accordance with applicable legislation. You can safely hand over empty cartridges to our staff. This way, you will have the assurance that the disposal will be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the law on the handling of hazardous waste. Before that, however, it would be a good idea to contact us and consult with us regarding the delivery address or the handover of the cartridges at the pickup point.
TIP: Take a look at how to give your toner a second life.
