Give your toner a second chance at life

You probably already know that we are a Green Company. But why, you probably don't know that yet. Environmental contamination is one of the greatest problems we currently face as a society. The fact that the most intelligent creatures ever to walk the planet Earth managed to destroy it so much within a fraction of its existence is truly thought-provoking.

There is no doubt that the printing industry also contributes significantly to environmental pollution. Old toner cartridges that are not recycled pose such a threat to the environment that they have even been classified as hazardous waste. Unfortunately, this title clearly deserves it. Their decomposition in municipal waste landfills can take even more than a thousand years.

Toner recycling makes sense

According to estimates by environmental organizations, the number of discarded toner cartridges exceeds half a billion units per year. You might say that with numbers like these, recycling a single toner cartridge certainly won’t save the planet. However, over the course of your life, you will use several dozen of them, and by recycling them, you can significantly contribute to reducing your environmental footprint.

How to do it?

Very little is really needed to ensure that soil, water, and air are contaminated as little as possible by toxins from decomposition and from burning parts of your toner. One of the many environmentally friendly solutions is sending used original toner cartridges for refurbishment. If you own a compatible toner, you can hand it over at the nearest collection yard.

You can also recycle in a much more creative way. This time, we literally breathed new life into an empty toner cartridge!

Soil, water, light, a little love were enough...

... and thanks to our colleagues at the CDRmarket store, an old toner cartridge became a home for these green beauties.

If such a toner version of a flower pot does not exactly suit your living room, send the empty cartridges to our e-shop. Contact us by email / phone and discuss the delivery address or handover of the tapes at the pickup point with one of our staff members. This way, you can be sure that the disposal will be carried out exactly in accordance with the requirements of the law on the handling of hazardous waste and in harmony with nature.
