The HIPS printing material is ideal for printing supports when printing with ABS or when printing large objects. It is a very tough and strong filament that possesses thermal stability, so it does not warp during printing.

HIPS material has very similar printing properties to ABS. ABS dissolves in acetone and HIPS dissolves in limonene.

Unlike some filaments on the market, Gembird printing strings do not release hazardous odors, ensuring safe and clean printing operation.

Additionally, they are completely biodegradable, thereby minimizing the impact on our environment.
