Product description

C-Tech filament from the PREMIUM LINE range in yellow-orange (RAL 2000) is the ideal choice for those seeking a combination of flexibility, durability, and technical precision. This flexible thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) material with a Shore hardness of 90A enables the creation of parts that are soft enough to bend and deform, yet retain their shape and provide mechanical stability even under demanding use. Thanks to its properties, it is an excellent material for functional components that must withstand abrasion, impacts, and contact with oils or common chemicals.

The advantages of this material lie in its high elasticity, which allows it to stretch by up to 500% before breaking, and its low shrinkage, ensuring that prints retain their shape even without a heated chamber. The material features excellent interlayer adhesion, resulting in strong, cohesive parts. It is odorless and relatively easy to process, making it suitable even for users with less experience with flexible materials.

  • Filament diameter: 1.75 mm with a tolerance of ± 0.05 mm
  • Weight: 1000 g (1 kg)
  • Color: Yellow - Orange (RAL 2000)
  • Printing temperature: 210–230 °C
  • Recommended bed temperature: 30–60 °C
  • Printing speed: 15–30 mm/s
  • Density: 1.21 g/cm³
  • Tensile strength: approx. 40 MPa
  • Glass transition temperature (Tg): approx. -35 °C

For optimal printing results, using a direct-drive extruder is recommended, as Bowden feeding can be more challenging with such a flexible material. Reducing the print speed ensures a steady flow of material and high-quality layering. It is advisable to preheat the build plate slightly and use an adhesive or a PEI sheet to improve first-layer adhesion. The material is sensitive to moisture, so it is recommended to dry it before printing or store it in an airtight box with a desiccant. This filament is ideal for making protective covers, seals, shock absorbers, flexible couplings, footwear prototypes, and flexible models for hobbies, RC models, and robotics.
