Product description
The high-strength foam tape 3M VHB 4991 is designed for demanding joints. Excellent at filling in irregularities and dampening vibrations. Withstands exterior conditions, tolerates extreme temperatures. Seals and insulates. Quickly and cleanly creates long-lasting reliable connections. Soft, adaptable foam adheres perfectly even to rough, textured surfaces. The tape is resistant to migrating plasticizers (softeners) from softened plastics (PVC).
The tape is designed for surfaces with high surface energy (HSE): unpainted metals, glass, wood, stone, ceramics, etc.; and medium surface energy (MSE): metals painted with non-baked paints, plastics except LSE, natural fabrics, etc.
