3M 05771 Interface Pad made of soft foam with hook-and-loop fastening (Hookit system) is designed for attachment between the backing pad and the polishing pad. Increases the flexibility of the disc, allowing it to reach less accessible areas and better follow differently shaped surfaces when polishing paint. The openings in the pad equalize airflow and help dissipate heat.
