3M Cubitron II™ 982C fiber discs are made using precision-shaped ceramic grain that creates ultra-sharp, fast-cutting points that wear evenly and stay cool. The breakdown of the mineral is optimized, thereby extending the service life of the discs. The discs have a faster material removal rate and require less pressure than conventional abrasives, which means more comfortable and safer grinding. They also achieve smoother surfaces. Target applications: weld removal, scale, pits and surface defects, beveling, edge chamfering.
