3M 787C fibre discs are designed for grinding stainless steel and non-ferrous metals, such as aluminum and titanium. Thanks to revolutionary technology – precisely shaped ceramic abrasive grains* – they heat up less during grinding, offer faster material removal, and have a longer service life compared to conventional fibre discs. 3M 787 discs also require less pressure than conventional abrasives.
* 3M precision-shaped abrasive grains use 3M microreplication technology to create sharp points that produce less heat when "slicing" metals, grind faster, and last longer than conventional abrasives. These tend to "tear up" metals, which causes increased heating of both the workpiece and the abrasive.Download
