The SDXC (SD eXtended Capacity) memory card is designed for storing large volumes of data at high speeds and offers users the functionality of portable storage as well as the speed required for cameras and digital cameras.

SDXC cards can handle significantly larger amounts of information thanks to two technological improvements. The exFAT file system allows the SDXC card to handle large volumes of data, while the UHS-1 interface transfers movies, videos, and images at an ideal speed of up to 104 MB/s*

*SDXC UHS-1 (Ultra High Speed Bus 1) memory cards can achieve the highest speeds only when paired with a UHS-1 device. On devices without a UHS-1 interface, the guaranteed minimum data transfer rate for class 10 will be 10 MB/s.

Verbatim SDXC memory cards can only be used with SDXC host products equipped with the latest SDXC technology. Computer or laptop users must download a driver for the SD slot compatible with the SDXC standard from the Microsoft download center. Compatible with Windows XP SP2 and later, and Windows Vista SP1 and later.

Speed Class Rating:
The speed class rating is the official unit for measuring the speed of SD cards defined by the SD Association. It is equivalent to a speed of 8 Mb/s and measures the minimum write speed in the "best fragmented state, when no memory unit is occupied."

Class 10: Guaranteed minimum transfer speed 80 Mb/s (10 MB/s).
