Product description

High-Temperature Structural Material

The Spectrum PA6 CF15 filament is based on the LUVOCOM 3F PAHT® CF 9742 BK material. The qualitative parameters of the filament have been fully tested and are certified by Lehmann&Voss&Co KG.

Filament Spectrum PA6 CF15 (manufactured based on LUVOCOM 3F PAHT® CF 9742 BK) is a black, high-temperature engineering material based on polyamide 6.

Thanks to the 15% carbon fiber content, the mechanical strength of the base polyamide material is increased several times. A characteristic feature of this material is that moisture absorption is half that of pure PA6, and the water absorption time is four times shorter compared to pure PA6. When printing, a heated chamber is not required and there is no warping (shrinkage). The material is compatible with carrier materials HIPS and PVOH.

In addition, the Spectrum PA6 CF15 filament (manufactured using LUVOCOM 3F PAHT® CF 9742 BK) is characterized by very low linear shrinkage (not exceeding 0.1%), very high heat deflection temperature (HDT 240 °C), and a low coefficient of thermal expansion (0.4 10-5/K).

Components made from Spectrum PA6 CF15 material (manufactured with LUVOCOM 3F PAHT® CF 9742 BK) allow operation at elevated temperatures up to 150 °C long-term (20,000 h) and up to 180 °C short-term (max. 200 h).

From a technical perspective, the highly attractive properties of the Spectrum PA6 CF15 filament (made from LUVOCOM 3F PAHT® CF 9742 BK material) are achievable by adhering to the basic storage rules for this type of material (in a dry and dark place with humidity below 15%).

To achieve the best performance of the printed object, it is recommended to dry the material before starting work.

Note: Due to the significant carbon fiber content, it is recommended to use nozzles with a larger diameter than the standard 0.4 mm diameter.

In addition, the presence of carbon fibers can cause degradation of standard brass nozzles, so for long-term use of Spectrum PA6 CF15 nozzles (made using LUVOCOM 3F PAHT® CF 9742 BK), hardened steel or ruby nozzles are recommended.
