Product description

Highly Functional Polyamide

The Spectrum PA6 Neat NT filament was manufactured based on LUVOCOM 3F PAHT® 9875 NT. The qualitative parameters of the fiber have been fully tested and are certified by Lehmann&Voss&Co KG.

Spectrum PA6 Neat NT (manufactured based on LUVOCOM 3F PAHT® 9875 NT) is a new, highly functional felt based on polyamide 6 in natural color.

The main feature of PA6 Neat NT is its increased mechanical strength compared to other plastics. The material also has exceptional thermal properties, chemical resistance, and relatively high corrosion resistance.

The spectrum PA6 Neat NT (manufactured from LUVOCOM 3F PAHT® 9875 NT) allows long-term operation (20,000 h) at a temperature of 120 °C while maintaining sufficient mechanical properties.

PA6 Neat NT has low processing shrinkage (0.3%) and reduced moisture absorption rate (<0.3% 23 °C/24 h). Thanks to the above-mentioned properties, it is an ideal filament for professional users, allowing for the creation of durable prints.

From a technical standpoint, the highly attractive properties of the Spectrum PA6 Neat NT material (manufactured using LUVOCOM 3F PAHT® 9875 NT) can be achieved by adhering to the basic storage rules for this type of material (in a dry and dark place with humidity below 15%).

To achieve the best properties of the printed object, it is recommended to dry the material before starting work.

Material Properties

  • low (linear) shrinkage during processing up to 0.3%.
  • high temperature resistance up to 160 °C for short-term operation (max. 200 h)
  • very high temperature resistance up to 120 °C for long-term operation (20,000 h).
  • heat distortion temperature ? HDT A 90°C (ISO 75)
  • water absorption below 0.3% (23°C/24h)
  • high creep resistance
  • high hardness and stiffness of manufactured parts
  • good tribological properties, even under dry friction conditions found in maintenance-free sliding bearings
  • chemical resistance to plastic lubricants and oils
  • very strong layer lamination

Applications

  • manufacturing of end-use parts
  • functional prototyping
  • industrial modeling
  • all types of sealing rings and plates with enhanced chemical and corrosion resistance
  • production of gears and belts, sliding bearings, scrapers, and guide rollers operating at elevated temperatures up to 120°C long-term and up to 160°C short-term
