Ergonomic Chair Powerton SIMAThe ergonomic chair Powerton SIMA was designed to best meet the needs of the user and minimize the negative impacts of sedentary work on human health. Among the benefits of ergonomic seating are increased productivity and work efficiency, as the user can focus their attention on work tasks instead of pain and discomfort. The chair is suitable not only for office environments but also for home offices and for anyone who spends hours sitting. The construction of the chair uses quality materials that ensure long-lasting durability and resilience. The chair is equipped with a padded seat and backrest, as well as adjustable armrests that help maintain the arms in an ergonomic position and reduce tension in the shoulders and cervical spine.
Synchro mechanism
The synchro mechanism allows for the synchronization of the seat and backrest movement, so both parts move simultaneously in a 2:1 ratio. This means that when the seat moves one centimeter forward, the backrest moves two centimeters backward. This synchronous movement is adjustable and allows for comfortable and ergonomic seating. You can lock it in four positions. Thanks to the ability to smoothly adjust the angle of the seat and backrest, it eliminates the strain caused by repetitive small-range movements when working with a computer - RSI (Repetition Strain Injury). Simultaneously, it prevents permanent static muscle tension by frequently changing body positions through active sitting while working with a computer.
Adjustable counterbalance strength according to body weight
The base has an adjustable mechanism that allows the adjustment of counterbalance strength according to the user's body weight. To adjust the counterbalance strength, turn the right lever under the seat clockwise to increase stiffness or counterclockwise to decrease strength. If the user weighs less than the average person, they will want to reduce the counterweight force to move easily. On the contrary, if the user weighs more than the average person, they will want to increase the counterweight strength to maintain the correct body position. It is important to correctly adjust the counterbalance strength according to your own body weight to ensure proper ergonomics.
Seat Depth Adjustment
Properly adjusted seat depth allows sitting with heels on the ground to ensure the correct spine position and blood circulation in the lower limbs. If the seat is too short, you will lack support for your thighs, which can lead to non-ergonomic sitting and may cause back pain. On the contrary, if the seat is too long, it can lead to improper weight distribution of the body, which may cause discomfort and pain in the lower back, hips, and sides. The adjustment of seat depth is therefore an important element for optimal ergonomics and comfort while sitting, especially for individuals with different body sizes.
Height adjustment of the backrest with UP-DOWN mechanism
The backrest is ergonomically shaped with a pronounced lumbar support, height adjustable using the up-down system. It is important to find a backrest height that supports the correct body posture and minimizes tension in the spine and neck. The up-down system refers to the positioning principle without a control element, with automatic release in the upper position and locking in the lower position, while positioning occurs when the entire support moves upwards. By vertically adjusting the backrest, you can set the lumbar support to an appropriate position for every height.
Seat Height Adjustment
Adjusting the seat height is important for proper ergonomics and comfortable seating. It is necessary to minimize tension in the lower back and legs to increase productivity and comfort during work. The correct seat height should allow your feet to be firmly on the ground and your knees to be at a right angle. The height adjustment range of 8 cm is enabled by the chair's gas lift, allowing you to lock the height in any position.
Adjustable armrests are designed to support the arms and enhance comfort. They allow adjustments in three dimensions - height, depth, and angle. The height adjustment of the armrests allows you to set their height relative to the chair seat, ensuring the correct position of the arms and shoulders. The depth adjustment of the armrests allows you to set the distance between the armrests and the backrest of the chair, ensuring the correct position of the arms and improving lower back support. The angular adjustment of the armrests allows you to set their angle relative to the chair seat, ensuring the correct position of the arms and shoulders and minimizing pressure on the wrists and elbows.
