What is PONY? Well, we can translate this English word as "pony". But this article really isn't about ponies. PONY is our new brand of labelers and label printers. Children will use them, as well as adults for labeling at home, in the office, and some PONY label maker models are also suitable for more demanding environments for labeling cables and wires. Let's talk about what their advantage is and where exactly you can use them.

You may have already noticed that PONY label printers and PONY label makers have appeared in our e-shop, and you may have been wondering what they are. It is our new brand of labelers and label printers, but you can even find PONY tube printers, PONY labels, PONY tubes, and PONY ribbon cartridges with us as well. Their quality is comparable to the machines and consumables of better-known and major brands such as Brother or Dymo, but what will certainly always set them apart is their prices, which are much more affordable.

PONY Labelers

PONY labelers can be divided according to the environment and labeling they are suitable for. Some may be more suitable for the office or home, while others are also suitable for demanding environments. And how can we tell which labelers are suitable for demanding environments and which are not? For example, with the PONY E1000 PRO model, we can see at first glance that its construction looks very durable and robust, precisely so that it can withstand even adverse conditions. We can also tell by the fact that they can print on, for example, heat-shrink tubing suitable for electrical labeling, or according to their functions. Those PONY label makers that we use more at home or in the office no longer need to have a durable and robust construction and do not need to include functions for electrical work. These usually already have an elegant appearance, distinct functions, and simpler controls.

Some PONY labelers print labels that are intended only for them (e.g. PONY D30S) and for others we can use tapes for Brother label makers (For example PONY E1000 PRO and PONY P1000C). PONY labels designed specifically for some PONY labelers are for direct thermal printing, and these may fade over time. In contrast, tapes for Brother label makers have the ink ribbon directly in the tape cassette, so the printing technology of these PONY label makers is instead thermal transfer, which means that the resulting labels will be very high quality and will last for many years even in adverse conditions. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Uses of PONY Label Makers

As with label printers, you can choose from models that print labels only using direct thermal technology, or also using thermal transfer technology. The advantage of all these PONY label printers is once again excellent quality at favorable prices. In terms of print quality and overall build quality, they can match many other label printers from well-known and especially larger brands. Their great pride is also easy and above all comfortable operation, which is not commonly found even in more expensive label printer models. The use of PONY label printers can be found, for example, in offices, shops, hospital facilities, warehouses, and households.

Label printers are less common in the home, but if you need to label multiple items, or you run your own small family business, you will certainly make use of them as well.
