Product description
The high-strength foam tape 3M VHB 4956 is designed for demanding joints. Soft, adaptable foam adheres perfectly even to rougher textured surfaces. It is resistant to migrating plasticizers (softeners) from plasticized plastics (PVC). Excellent at filling in irregularities and dampening vibrations. Withstands exterior conditions, tolerates extreme temperatures. Seals and insulates. Quickly and cleanly creates long-lasting reliable connections.
The tape is designed for surfaces with high surface energy (HSE): unpainted metals, glass, wood, stone, ceramics, etc.; and with medium surface energy (MSE): metals painted with non-baked paints, plastics except LSE, natural fabrics, etc.
