Product description
The 3M 5490 tape made of extruded PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) with silicone high temperature and chemically resistant adhesive has a very low coefficient of friction and very low surface energy. The tape increases the slipperiness of material surfaces and prevents adhesives or dirt from sticking to the surface. It is suitable as protection against surface abrasion or to eliminate squeaking of plastic parts in tight fittings. Use it on flat, even parts.
