Special double-sided adhesive foam tape 3M 4008 with a highly durable polyurethane carrier and excellent shear strength. It is typically used for direct mounting of mirrors, precisely because of the foam carrier with high shear strength and the 3M 100 acrylic adhesive, which is long-term gentle on the reflective side of mirrors – it does not damage it, cause corrosion, or the resulting veining in the mirror. The tape is suitable for rough uneven surfaces. For interior use.

The tape is designed for surfaces with high surface energy (HSE): unpainted metals, glass, wood, stone, ceramics, etc.; and medium surface energy (MSE): metals painted with non-baked paints, plastics except LSE, natural fabrics, etc.
