Aluminum tape 3M 1436 backed with a paper liner is suitable for sealing HVAC and air conditioning ducts, protecting surfaces from radiant heat, etc. It has excellent resistance to chemically aggressive environments. The aluminum carrier layer excellently reflects both heat and light. Low water vapor permeability offers excellent efficiency in sealing and patching. Apply to clean, dry surfaces with a temperature above 0°C.
