Verbatim offers a solution in the form of a Blu-ray Slimline burner with USB-C connectivity. You can use it to create backups of all important files you don't want to lose, such as family photos, videos, accounting documents, etc.
Playback
Play Blu-ray and DVD discs in this external Blu-ray player*. It is only slightly larger than the Blu-ray disc itself and is powered by a USB port, so no additional power adapter is needed. You can carry it with you while traveling.
*Playback software is not included. It needs to be purchased or downloaded separately.
Software Nero Burn & Archive
The external Blu-ray Slimline burner is compatible with a wide range of optical discs. From 100GB BDXL to a regular 700MB CD! In the suite with the award-winning software Nero Burn and Archive**, which includes a range of special features and technologies such as DiscSpan, MediaHome, and SecureDisc, that can successfully assist in organizing, burning, and archiving important files. Given the various streaming options, including the Nero Streaming Player app, you can display movies, photos, presentations, and other media on different devices such as smartphones, tablets, or smart TVs. You can even use password protection for higher security and an electronic signature so that everyone knows the copyright belongs to you.

Fast burning
Burn standard DVDs at 8× speed, single-layer and dual-layer Blu-ray discs at 6×, and BDXL discs at 4×. The Blu-ray Slimline burner supports buffer underrun protection, preventing issues during recording.
Save Energy
The Blu-ray burner was also designed to save valuable energy. Supports zero power optical disc drive (ODD), reducing the optical drive's power consumption in the operating system to zero, thus saving energy when the drive is not in use.
