The high-strength foam tape 3M VHB 4952 is primarily designed for bonding difficult-to-bond plastics. Excellent at filling in irregularities and dampening vibrations. Withstands exterior conditions, tolerates extreme temperatures. Seals and insulates. Quickly and cleanly creates long-lasting reliable connections. The tape is designed for surfaces with high surface energy (HSE): unpainted metals, glass, wood, stone, ceramics, etc.; with medium surface energy (MSE): metals painted with non-baked paints, plastics except LSE, natural fabrics, etc.; with low surface energy (LSE): metals coated with powder-baked paint, plastics (PP, PE), nylon, etc.
