The high-strength foam tape 3M VHB 4936 is designed for demanding joints.
Soft adaptive foam adheres perfectly even to structured surfaces. It is resistant to migrating plasticizers (softeners) from plasticized plastics (PVC). Excellent at filling in irregularities and dampening vibrations. Withstands exterior conditions, tolerates extreme temperatures. Seals and insulates. Quickly and cleanly creates long-lasting reliable connections. The tape is designed for surfaces with high surface energy (HSE): unpainted metals, glass, wood, stone, ceramics, etc.; and with medium surface energy (MSE): metals coated with non-baked paints, plastics except LSE, natural fabrics, etc.
