3M Diamond Grade 997S contour tapes for vehicle marking are designed for application on smooth, solid, and soft surfaces. The tapes are non-metallic, non-corroding, with closed edges preventing the loss of self-reflection. They have excellent water resistance, and they are also resistant to dirt, vapors, and fuel contamination. The tapes have bright colors that are highly visible both day and night. They meet the requirements of ECE 104 as retro-reflective markings for vehicles of categories M, N, and O. Maintenance: To ensure maximum functionality of the signage, we recommend regular cleaning. Application instructions: The bonded surface must be clean, degreased, dry, and intact. First, remove all mechanical impurities and then thoroughly degrease it using 3M VHB surface cleaner or a 3M wipe soaked in isopropyl alcohol. Remove the protective layer (liner) from the tape, avoid touching the adhesive, and apply the tape to a flat and clean surface. Ensure that the tape adheres to the entire surface, including the edges. Remove the transfer tape from the front side of the reflective tape. Do not overlap the tapes. Wait 2 hours before washing.
