Contour tapes for vehicle marking 3M Diamond Grade™ 983 are designed for application on smooth, solid sides and rear of vehicles and trailers to enhance their visibility. The tapes are non-metallic, non-corroding, with closed edges preventing the loss of self-reflection. They are highly durable, resistant to weather conditions, dirt, fumes, fuel pollution, and aging. The tapes have bright colors that are highly visible both day and night (for excellent 24-hour visibility, they are also available in fluorescent yellow - type 983-21). They meet the requirements of ECE 104 as retro-reflective markings for vehicles of categories M, N, and O.

Maintenance: To ensure maximum functionality of the signage, we recommend regular cleaning.

Application Instructions: The bonded surface must be clean, degreased, dry, and intact. First, remove all mechanical impurities and then thoroughly degrease it using 3M VHB surface cleaner or a 3M wipe soaked in isopropyl alcohol. Remove the protective layer (liner) from the tape, avoid touching the adhesive, and apply the tape to a flat and clean surface. Ensure that the tape adheres to the entire surface, including the edges. Do not overlap the tapes. Wait 2 hours before washing. Do not apply tape on irregular surfaces (screws, large rivets, welded joints, etc.).)
