The 3M 7848 label adhesive material consists of a dual-layer (silver - top and black - bottom) halogen-free acrylic film with 350 acrylic adhesive. This highly versatile adhesive with high adhesion is ideal for powder-coated surfaces, low surface energy plastics (e.g. polypropylene) and slightly greasy metals. Thanks to its greater thickness, it is also suitable for structured and curved surfaces. The material has very good temperature resistance, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, and weather resistance. In most cases, labels affixed to the surface cannot be transferred without being damaged. The resulting labels have high contrast in description, which is especially important for barcodes. The material meets UL/CSA.
