The SDX2250D is crammed with 1,485 built-in patterns including 182 Disney and includes 17 typefaces.

Automatic rotary knife
The automatic rotary knife in the Brother ScanNCut CM300 cutting plotter contains a small cutting wheel instead of a classic blade, which is designed for cutting different types of fabrics (canvas, cotton, flannel, felt, jersey, etc.) and thanks to it, the cut is clean even without backing/stabilization material.

Cutting depth 3 mm
With the Brother CM300 plotter, you can not only cut paper, stickers, iron-on foils, fabric, leather, leatherette and similar materials up to a depth of 3 mm. At the same time, the plotter will automatically apply a double or triple cut to these high materials, so that it is absolutely perfect and does not fray.

Automatic knife
ScanNCut plotters of the SDX series can measure the height of the material and accordingly adjust the cutting knife to the correct depth. You can cut everything with one knife.

Faster and quieter
Thanks to a new type of motor, this plotter cuts incomparably faster than its direct competitors and is completely silent at the same time.

Scanning with a resolution of 600 DPI
Scanning with this ScanNCut series has doubled the resolution. This way, you will be more successful in automatically detecting the pattern on the mat and your scanned photos will be perfect. The scanner can be used both for scanning material on a mat and for scanning office documents or your favorite photos.

Film unwinder - ROLL FEEDER
You can purchase a foil unwinder - Roll Feeder for SDX series plotters. You can then use it to cut strips of self-adhesive or iron-on foil measuring up to 30x180 cm. Patterns for this dimension must be created in the PC version of the CanvasWorkspace program and simply transferred to the plotter via Wi-Fi or cable. Great feature for window decals, car decals, die cut graphics!

Drawing
A plotter doesn't just cut, it can also draw. You can use either original pens or an optional universal holder, which can fit any regular-sized pen. It is now possible to fill the surface with a decorative pattern using pens.

Compatible with embroidery
Do you have a Brother embroidery machine? The SDX cutting plotter can now also cut an embedded pattern in PES or PHC format. From an embroidery pattern, you can use an outline, single colors or use line embroidery as line embossing, drawing or metal foil transfer.

Many compartments for accessories
Thanks to the changed design of the cover, you can store accessories - knives, spatulas, pens - in the front cover. At the same time, you can conveniently store a spatula or stylus while you work in the stand in the front part of the plotter

SVG Quick Cut
Do you have designs in SVG vector format? No conversion needed, you can directly insert the pattern into the plotter and cut.

An even bigger screen
The plotter display has increased to a respectable size of 5 inches. At the same time, it remains full-color and touch-sensitive, you can do all the work with the plotter only on it.

Direct cutting - no need for a computer
The plotter can scan a drawn or printed image, create a cutting template from it, and cut it directly. Of course, you can also save the pattern created in this way in the plotter's memory or on a USB flash drive and cut it repeatedly.

Fantastic for patchwork
In the memory of the SDX 1200 model, you will find 140 patterns for patchwork - from classic blocks to Sunbonnet Sue dolls. You add a seam allowance to the blocks as you are used to sewing, the plotter will cut the block with the seam allowance for you and can also draw you a clean measurement with a disappearing marker, according to which you will sew. You no longer have to hold back on cutting complicated blocks by hand, and you can start sewing right away!

Scrapbooking
There are no limits to your creativity. The plotter can handle almost any paper and you can come up with any pattern and use it right away! You are no longer limited by die cuts or dies that are on sale.

Free software
Of course, there is software for creating patterns. You have two options - the CanvasWorkspace web application or the application to install on your PC. The web interface has the advantage of a cloud solution, so you will always have your patterns with you, whether you are working at work on a computer or at home on a tablet. You can then send patterns to the plotter via Wi-Fi, cable or USB flash drive.

Embossing
With the optional kit you can print patterns on paper or special metal foils!

Perforation
With the optional kit, you can create new projects with punched patterns or with a punched frame.
